On the 40th anniversary of this historic event, offering this extremely rare set of 4 NASA glasses commemorating the June 17, 1985 mission of the Space Shuttle Discovery. The crew of this mission included Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud, the first Arab, Muslim, and royal in space. Glasses are 4.5" tall and 2.5" wide. Gold outer with relief design depicting Discovery shuttle in center surrounded by ring of text "DISCOVERY 1985 USA - SAUDIARABIA" Produced by Aderia Glass of Japan. Individual glasses wrapped in plastic in the original box.
